I'm Hayley Meehan, the textile artist and founder of Design Create Inspire NZ.  I design and hand-make unique toys, accessories and decorations from my home in Lower Hutt. 

My artistic journey is inspired by the beauty of nature and the joy of motherhood. From cosy hats and scarves to imaginative toys, Christmas decorations and thoughtful gifts - each item is hand-crafted with exquisite detail and quality from beginning to end. I’m passionate about working with natural fibres like wool and cotton and employ traditional techniques such as knitting, crochet and hand-embroidery to create my unique products.

A small range of my creations are available in my online felt shop. However, if you're like me and enjoy browsing art in person, you can visit one of my beautiful stockists to see a wider range of products on offer up close or if your local pop on down to one of the local artisan markets I attend (for dates/locations visit my Facebook page for announcements).
