Unique design and hand-crafted quality

Each little heart is lovingly embroidered with high-quality French cotton threads on premium wool blend felt or pure wool up-cycled blankets. I love working sustainably with up-cycled blankets... they're a beautiful soft natural fibre and full of stories from their past life. Hugs are lightly stuffed with polyester fill and come enclosed in a cellophane bag ready for gifting. Choose from a range of embroidered designs and worded sentiment cards to make your hug extra special. I've heard many recipients have enjoyed reusing their sentiment card as a bookmark to remind them of your thoughts.

kawakawa

If you've wandered through the bush, you've likely spotted these vibrant green leaves - often holey, thanks to the kawakawa looper caterpillar, which feeds exclusively on them. Kawakawa has long been valued for its medicinal properties, used for generations in healing remedies. This little hug carries a piece of nature's resilience and care - perfect for gifting or keeping close as a reminder of strength and well-being.

kowhai

The kowhai, with its brilliant golden-yellow blossoms, is a much-loved emblem of New Zealand. Blooming in spring, it provides an essential food source for native birds, who fiercely guard its delicious nectar. It's vibrant flowers are a true sign of the changing seasons.

This pocket hug design features our 'electric blue' native mushroom,
Entoloma hochstetteri. I've added metallic thread on the gills underneath to bring a touch of sparkle to the design. This striking fungal beauty is said to be fairly widespread on our forest floors.
