I personally enjoy hanging one from my rear vision car mirror to remind me of the vibrant beauty of pohutukawa and kowhai, no matter the season.
Each flower decoration is 6cm (excluding loop).
Kowhai
Widely regarded as the unofficial flower of New Zealand, the enchanting kowhai is also super popular among our native birds as a food source. From July to November, large numbers of tui, bellbird, kereru and kaka will flock to feast on the leaves and vibrant yellow flowers which provide an important seasonal nectar supply.
Pohutukawa
Known as New Zealand's native Christmas tree, the pohutukawa is celebrated for its stunning, vibrant red flowers that bloom in December. Pohutukawa flower decorations are available in the more traditional red form or can be ordered in the more rarer forms of yellow or apricot.
